I carry your heart with me…for my dad, 30 years on

Last week was the 30th anniversary of my dads passing. I blogged about him, my grief and how art heals on my blog Urban Viti.

Today marks 30 years since my dad passed away. He died whe I was 3 years old and he was just 27.

My dad was on his way from LA to Canada with his brother when he had a massive heart attack and died on that plane somewhere over California – over 5,000 miles from his family in Fiji.

1982 was a tragic year for my family – my dads brothers son died weeks before him, as well as my bubu (maternal grandmother). Read more on Urban Viti
